Actigraph

Definition: A small instrument such as a wristwatch that's typically worn on the wrist or ankle and measures body movement. It's useful in recording sleep-wake cycles. It works by measuring and recording accelerations to create an activity pattern.
Examples: The sleep specialist requested that I wear an actigraph to determine what my sleep patterns are like.
