From the article: How to Use Sleep Apps
There are thousands of applications, or apps, and many of them surprisingly relate to sleep. There are alarm clocks, sound machines, sleep diaries, and programs meant to interpret dreams, hypnotize you, or analyze your sleep. What are your favorite sleep apps? Share Your Favorites

Sleep Sounds

Sleep Sounds is a great app. It lets you mix and match so you can create a custom sound based on mixing existing sounds.

Good Apps for Sleep

I have found some of the relaxing tunes on iTunes to be helpful in calming me down when going to bed. 'Magnificant Sounds of Nature: Thunderstorm, Ocean Waves, and Rain' is a good choice.

A Few Good Apps

I haven't always had sleeping problems, but after my father passed away in 2007, sleeping problems started to arise. My hubby bought a really cool clock radio, with the option of having church bells wake you up! lol. They are so aggravating, when you have to get out of bed, walk to the other side of the room (I put it there so I'd really get up lol). Also another thing I used on occasion, are the strips that help you stop snoring. Breathe Right strips. Just be careful taking it off, as your skin can go right after you peel it off. I'll have to think of other things in a little while.
