Uses of Passion Flower: Passion flower has narcotic properties and is used to promote sleep and relieve stress.
Description of Passion Flower: Ver showy plant with large, fragrant flowers the corolla of which resembles the Crown Of Thorns, thus the name for the Passions of Christ. It's a woody vine and all parts of the plant have medicinal value.
Warnings and Side Effects of Passion Flower: As with most herbal remedies, do not take during pregnancy or while breast feeding. Do not take with other sedatives or tranquilizers.
Available as: Tincture, capsules and tea. Often combined with other relaxing herbs.
