Uses of echinacea: Echinacea is believed to be usefulin the treatment and prevantion of colds and influenza.
Description of echinacea: Also called purple coneflower, echinacea is native to North America. Flowers from May to October and belongs to the same plant family as dandelions, daisies and marigolds.
Warnings and Side Effects of Echinacea: May cause allerbic reactions in some people who are prone to allergies.
Available as: Echinacea is available as capsules, tincture, juice or lozenges.
