Glo to Sleep Mask

Glo to Sleep Mask

LIne 49, Inc.
When I first read the press releases about Glo to Sleep™, I was reminded of my work, years ago, using self hypnosis and meditation to quiet my mind and get to sleep. I wasn't surprised, therefore, when I saw hypnosis, meditation and the Silva method all mentioned in the information on the Glo to Sleep. But the Glo to Sleep™ surpasses these methods and leads you easily and quickly into sleep.

Other Methods

To quiet my mind and get to sleep, I'd choose a spot high on the wall, perhaps a circle of light that crept in through a crack in the drapes. I'd stare at that spot and talk myself into a state of relaxation. Did it work? Sometimes. Was it easy? No. It was difficult to hold that focus long enough to fall asleep.

I bought hypnosis tapes and books including the Silva Mind Control Method. The training helped, but the results were still far from perfect.

The Glo to Sleep™ uses methods similar to hypnosis and meditation, but because you have nothing to draw the eye away from the point of focus, it's easier and more accurate. The Glo to Sleep™ leads you easily and quickly into sleep.

What is Glo to Sleep?

Using Glo to Sleep
Using Glo to Sleep
Line 49, Inc.
Glo to Sleep™ is a light weight breathable sleep mask that completely blocks out all light. However, on the inside of the mask, soothing luminescent blue "Points of Glo" give the wearer something to focus on. The gaze is gently drawn upward to focus on these points and that's the secret of this method. The act of looking up alters the state of consciousness and the wearer slips naturally through the different brain wave states of sleep. Also, looking up stimulates the pineal gland where the hormone melatonin is produced.

When we are awake, we are in the Beta state, alert and alert. The next state is called the Alpha state, and this is where we begin to relax both mentally and physically. The third state, Theta, takes you in to deep relaxation. This is the state between wakefulness and sleep. The final state, Delta, takes you into a deep and restful sleep.

Insomnia

Hundreds of people suffer from insomnia, whether it's transient insomnia that lasts only an occasional night or two, short-term insomnia that may go on for a week or more, and, the worst type, chronic insomnia that has become a fact of life, disrupting sleep night after night until the sufferer becomes sleep deprived.

What causes insomnia? Many things, actually, but the worst cause is an overactive mind, plagued by worry, stress and just too many things to think about. That's where the Glo to Sleep™ comes in. Gazing at the blue "Points of Glo" slows the mind so you can get the sleep that's so vital to mental and physical health.
